Yaptap is simple, powerful group messaging built specifically to meet the needs of churches, ministries, and youth groups. Yaptap allows group leaders to create and manage groups of contacts. Group leaders guide and moderate conversations, control privacy settings, and assign messaging privileges to other members. With Yaptap, participants can instantly reach their entire group across several platforms. A single Yaptap message goes out to each member’s preferred account, whether email, text, Twitter or Facebook – whatever they choose. As long as the group has access to the internet or a phone, they’re going to get the message.

Yaptap is all about groups. Create small groups, big groups, informal groups, staff groups, student groups and more. Create a name for your group, select new members and either invite them to join or add them to the group by dragging and dropping them into the group you’ve created. Now you can send messages to that group in one simple step. Yaptap lets you create an infinite number of smaller groups from your total Yaptap membership. Groups can be just two members or many members and you can name and categorize your groups in the way that works best for your needs.

Anyone with a mobile phone, email address, or internet access can be a member.
Members could be teachers, students, teammates, friends, alumni, congregations, bible studies, youth groups – the possibilities are endless. They’re all organized into the groups you’ve created or joined, and as a group leader you have complete control over creating sub-groups and moderating their messages.
Member management features include:
  • Add phone contacts or invite via email or SMS.
  • Drag and drop current members into new groups.
  • Import contacts from another database.
  • Set groups as open or require approval
  • Designate other Goup Leaders with management permissions

Event planning is one of the primary duties of a group leader, and Yaptap has made it easier than ever to schedule events, define them, and then invite people to attend. With Yaptap, you can even set up recurring events so there’s no need to write new messages every time a regularly scheduled meeting comes up. Simply create an event, choose the groups or members to invite, and send invitations from Yaptap. Every event gets it’s own event code, so you can track RSVPs and messages, and easily send out updates and new event details.
